There was a time I was gracious and good. I was a child in the eyes of the Lord. I had no need to understand what's right and what's good, but now that's over. Now I should see, the rights from the wrong and for awhile I was faring so well.
Oh God, what have I done? I didn't mean to stray from Your hand but afterall, I fell in my way, though I was wrong. I make mistakes. I need redemption.
There came a time I was given some blows. I wasn't wise, Lord, I didn't know. I took no time in changin my ways. I was bitter...determined to make it through. I was growing older.

I had a time gettin over my sin 'cause through it all, I know where I'd been, I knew I was wrong. I knew it right then. Even now, I still feel the pain from what I've done, but it's going away.
